Halliwell House is a 5 star luxury property in a fantastic location in the popular village of Hale, Cheshire that can accommodate up to 16 people by special arrangement, with excellent facilities for family stays or wedding hire.


The property sits in a private and secluded elevated position, near to the bars and restaurants and shops in the charming upmarket Hale village. With Manchester airport only 10 minutes away, by car, this is the complete hide away.


There are two receptions plus games room, cinema room and a superb living kitchen with Gaggenau appliances, which can accommodate large family or corporate catering. All 5 spacious double bedroom suites each have their own living, flat screen TV and dressing areas, along with with large modern bathrooms.


The mature gardens of over one and half acres contains a spacious terrace with loungers and BBQ. The terrace also makes a charming entertaining space. The large mature park like garden can also be used for wedding receptions with a marquee being erected on the lawn. There is also a tennis wall and a putting green and a bunker and chipping green for budding open champions. There is also a large private car park.


Halliwell House is a beautiful period building which retains a wealth of original features. The house was built by Kendal Milne, the owner of the famous Manchester store and was used by Winston Churchill during the war for meetings. It has undergone an extensive, sympathetic modernisation and now offers a luxurious living space, all within a unique modern design. There is also a drawing room , hallway and staircase with period panelling.


Halliwell House is an excellent base for exploring the north of England and Wales whether it be city attractions such as Manchester, Liverpool and Chester and scenic areas such as the Peak District, the Lakes and Snowdonia National Park.
